Description
The Arabic root فرث (f-r-th) refers to the partially digested contents of an animal's stomach or intestines, particularly the semi-liquid matter found in the rumen of ruminant animals. In the Quran, it appears in Surah An-Nahl (16:66) as part of a verse describing the miraculous process by which pure, wholesome milk is produced from between the digested food matter (farth) and blood within cattle. This root serves to illustrate Allah's creative power and wisdom in extracting something pure and beneficial for human consumption from what would otherwise be considered waste material, demonstrating divine signs in nature.
