وَٱلَّذِينَ هُم بِشَهَـٰدَٰتِهِمْ قَآئِمُونَ 33
Translations
And those who are in their testimonies upright
Transliteration
Wa alladhina hum bi shahadatihim qa'imun
Tafsir (Explanation)
This ayah describes those who uphold their testimonies and fulfill their oaths with honesty and integrity. According to Ibn Kathir and Al-Qurtubi, this refers to those who stand firm in bearing witness truthfully in legal and social matters, never compromising their testimony for fear, favor, or personal gain. This characteristic is presented as one of the virtues of the righteous who shall inherit Paradise.
