وَإِنَّكَ لَتُلَقَّى ٱلْقُرْءَانَ مِن لَّدُنْ حَكِيمٍ عَلِيمٍ 6
Translations
And indeed, [O Muḥammad], you receive the Qur’ān from one Wise and Knowing.
Transliteration
Wa-innaka latalaqqa al-Qur'ana min ladun hakimin 'alim
Tafsir (Explanation)
This ayah affirms that the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) receives the Qur'an directly from Allah, the All-Wise and All-Knowing, emphasizing the divine origin and perfection of the revelation. Classical scholars like Ibn Kathir explain that 'from before Him' (min ladun) indicates the Qur'an comes directly from Allah's infinite wisdom and knowledge, not from any human source, refuting the accusations of the Meccan disbelievers who claimed it was fabricated.

He said, "O my people, why are you impatient for evil before [i.e., instead of] good? Why do you not seek forgiveness of Allāh that you may receive mercy?"
إِنَّ رَبَّكَ يَقْضِى بَيْنَهُم بِحُكْمِهِۦ ۚ وَهُوَ ٱلْعَزِيزُ ٱلْعَلِيمُ
Indeed, your Lord will judge between them by His [wise] judgement. And He is the Exalted in Might, the Knowing.
فَلَمَّا جَآءَهَا نُودِىَ أَنۢ بُورِكَ مَن فِى ٱلنَّارِ وَمَنْ حَوْلَهَا وَسُبْحَـٰنَ ٱللَّهِ رَبِّ ٱلْعَـٰلَمِينَ
But when he came to it, he was called, "Blessed is whoever is at the fire and whoever is around it. And exalted is Allāh, Lord of the worlds.
