Az-Zumar (The Troops) · Ayah 7

إِن تَكْفُرُوا۟ فَإِنَّ ٱللَّهَ غَنِىٌّ عَنكُمْ ۖ وَلَا يَرْضَىٰ لِعِبَادِهِ ٱلْكُفْرَ ۖ وَإِن تَشْكُرُوا۟ يَرْضَهُ لَكُمْ ۗ وَلَا تَزِرُ وَازِرَةٌ وِزْرَ أُخْرَىٰ ۗ ثُمَّ إِلَىٰ رَبِّكُم مَّرْجِعُكُمْ فَيُنَبِّئُكُم بِمَا كُنتُمْ تَعْمَلُونَ ۚ إِنَّهُۥ عَلِيمٌۢ بِذَاتِ ٱلصُّدُورِ 7

If you disbelieve - indeed, Allāh is Free from need of you. And He does not approve for His servants disbelief. And if you are grateful, He approves [i.e., likes] it for you; and no bearer of burdens will bear the burden of another. Then to your Lord is your return, and He will inform you about what you used to do. Indeed, He is Knowing of that within the breasts.

إِنinIf
تَكْفُرُوا۟takfurūyou disbelieve
فَإِنَّfa-innathen indeed
ٱللَّهَl-lahaAllah
غَنِىٌّghaniyyun(is) free from need
غنيgh-n-yadjective
عَنكُمْ ۖʿankumof you
noun
وَلَاwalāAnd not
يَرْضَىٰyarḍāHe likes
لِعِبَادِهِliʿibādihiin His slaves
ٱلْكُفْرَ ۖl-kuf'raungratefulness
وَإِنwa-inAnd if
تَشْكُرُوا۟tashkurūyou are grateful
يَرْضَهُyarḍahuHe likes it
لَكُمْ ۗlakumin you

وَلَاwalāAnd not
تَزِرُtaziruwill bear
وَازِرَةٌۭwāziratunbearer of burdens
وِزْرَwiz'ra(the) burden
أُخْرَىٰ ۗukh'rā(of) another
ثُمَّthummaThen
إِلَىٰilāto
رَبِّكُمrabbikumyour Lord
مَّرْجِعُكُمْmarjiʿukum(is) your return
فَيُنَبِّئُكُمfayunabbi-ukumthen He will inform you
بِمَاbimāabout what

كُنتُمْkuntumyou used to
تَعْمَلُونَ ۚtaʿmalūnado
إِنَّهُۥinnahuIndeed, He

عَلِيمٌۢʿalīmun(is) the All-Knower
بِذَاتِbidhātiof what (is) in the breasts

ٱلصُّدُورِl-ṣudūriof what (is) in the breasts
