رَبَّنَا وَأَدْخِلْهُمْ جَنَّـٰتِ عَدْنٍ ٱلَّتِى وَعَدتَّهُمْ وَمَن صَلَحَ مِنْ ءَابَآئِهِمْ وَأَزْوَٰجِهِمْ وَذُرِّيَّـٰتِهِمْ ۚ إِنَّكَ أَنتَ ٱلْعَزِيزُ ٱلْحَكِيمُ 8
Translations
Our Lord, and admit them to gardens of perpetual residence which You have promised them and whoever was righteous among their forefathers, their spouses and their offspring. Indeed, it is You who is the Exalted in Might, the Wise.
Transliteration
Rabbana wa-adkhilhum jannati 'Adn allatee wa'attahum wa-man salaha min aba'ihim wa-azwajihim wa-dhurriyyatihim. Innaka anta al-'Aziz al-Hakim.
Tafsir (Explanation)
The believers supplicate to Allah to admit the righteous into the Gardens of Eden that He has promised them, including not only themselves but also their pious ancestors, spouses, and offspring.
