Consequences of rejecting faith and oppressing believers

وَأَتْبَعْنَـٰهُمْ فِى هَـٰذِهِ ٱلدُّنْيَا لَعْنَةً ۖ وَيَوْمَ ٱلْقِيَـٰمَةِ هُم مِّنَ ٱلْمَقْبُوحِينَ

And We caused to overtake them in this world a curse, and on the Day of Resurrection they will be of the despised.
