Pharaoh's persecution and the magicians' eventual faith

فَلَمَّا جَآءَ ٱلسَّحَرَةُ قَالُوا۟ لِفِرْعَوْنَ أَئِنَّ لَنَا لَأَجْرًا إِن كُنَّا نَحْنُ ٱلْغَـٰلِبِينَ

And when the magicians arrived, they said to Pharaoh, "Is there indeed for us a reward if we are the predominant?"
