Satan's arrogance and rebellion (Iblis's character)

وَإِذْ قُلْنَا لِلْمَلَـٰٓئِكَةِ ٱسْجُدُوا۟ لِـَٔادَمَ فَسَجَدُوٓا۟ إِلَّآ إِبْلِيسَ أَبَىٰ

And [mention] when We said to the angels, "Prostrate to Adam," and they prostrated, except Iblees; he refused.
