Self-Knowledge

عَلِمَتْ نَفْسٌ مَّآ أَحْضَرَتْ

A soul will [then] know what it has brought [with it].

عَلِمَتْ نَفْسٌ مَّا قَدَّمَتْ وَأَخَّرَتْ

A soul will [then] know what it has put forth and kept back.
