The established pattern (sunnah) of Allah in dealing with nations

لَا يُؤْمِنُونَ بِهِۦ ۖ وَقَدْ خَلَتْ سُنَّةُ ٱلْأَوَّلِينَ

They will not believe in it, while there has already occurred the precedent of the former peoples.
