The tension between natural inclination and cultural conditioning

وَلَئِن سَأَلْتَهُم مَّنْ خَلَقَهُمْ لَيَقُولُنَّ ٱللَّهُ ۖ فَأَنَّىٰ يُؤْفَكُونَ

And if you asked them who created them, they would surely say, "Allāh." So how are they deluded?
