Yad'una fiha bikuli fakihatin aminin
Tafsir (Explanation)
In this ayah, the inhabitants of Paradise call out requesting every type of fruit they desire, doing so in complete security and peace, without fear of deprivation or harm. According to Ibn Kathir and Al-Qurtubi, this describes the eternal abundance and comfort of the blessed in Paradise, where they enjoy both the physical blessings of fruits and the spiritual blessing of complete peace (aman) of mind. The word 'yaduna' (they call out) emphasizes their ease and freedom to request whatever they wish, reflecting the limitless provision and responsive generosity of Allah in Paradise.
Revelation Context
Surah Ad-Dukhan is a Meccan chapter that describes the scenes of Paradise and Hell as consolation and warning to believers during the early period of persecution in Mecca. This ayah appears in the concluding verses of the surah (44:51-57) which paint vivid descriptions of the rewards of the righteous, contrasting sharply with the punishments of the disbelievers described earlier in the chapter.
Related Hadiths
The Prophet (peace be upon him) said: 'In Paradise, there are things which no eye has seen, no ear has heard, and no human heart has ever thought of' (Sahih Bukhari 3244). Additionally, Hadith Qudsi emphasizes Allah's statement: 'I have prepared for My righteous servants what no eye has seen and no ear has heard' (Sahih Muslim 2824).
