۞ قَدْ يَعْلَمُ ٱللَّهُ ٱلْمُعَوِّقِينَ مِنكُمْ وَٱلْقَآئِلِينَ لِإِخْوَٰنِهِمْ هَلُمَّ إِلَيْنَا ۖ وَلَا يَأْتُونَ ٱلْبَأْسَ إِلَّا قَلِيلًا 18

Already Allāh knows the hinderers among you and those [hypocrites] who say to their brothers, "Come to us," and do not go to battle, except for a few,

۞ قَدْqadVerily

يَعْلَمُyaʿlamuAllah knows

علم'-l-mverb

ٱللَّهُl-lahuAllah knows

ألهa-l-hnoun

ٱلْمُعَوِّقِينَl-muʿawiqīnathose who hinder

عوق'-w-qnoun

مِنكُمْminkumamong you

noun

وَٱلْقَآئِلِينَwal-qāilīnaand those who say

قولq-w-lnoun

لِإِخْوَٰنِهِمْli-ikh'wānihimto their brothers

أخوa-kh-wnoun

هَلُمَّhalummaCome

هلمh-l-mnoun

إِلَيْنَا ۖilaynāto us

noun

وَلَاwalāand not

يَأْتُونَyatūnathey come

أتيa-t-yverb

ٱلْبَأْسَl-basa(to) the battle

بأسb-a-snoun

إِلَّاillāexcept

قَلِيلًاqalīlana few
