وَٱلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُوا۟ وَعَمِلُوا۟ ٱلصَّـٰلِحَـٰتِ لَنُدْخِلَنَّهُمْ فِى ٱلصَّـٰلِحِينَ 9
Translations
And those who believe and do righteous deeds - We will surely admit them among the righteous [into Paradise].
Transliteration
Wa alladhina amanu wa amilu assalihati lanudhkhilannuhum fi assaliheen
Tafsir (Explanation)
This ayah promises that those who believe in Allah and perform righteous deeds will be admitted among the righteous (as-saliheen) in Paradise. According to Ibn Kathir and Al-Qurtubi, this ayah emphasizes that true faith must be accompanied by virtuous actions, and such believers will be granted the honor of joining the company of the righteous in the hereafter. And Lot believed him. [Abraham] said, "Indeed, I will emigrate to [the service of] my Lord. Indeed, He is the Exalted in Might, the Wise."
الٓمٓ
Alif, Lām, Meem.
وَلَقَدْ فَتَنَّا ٱلَّذِينَ مِن قَبْلِهِمْ ۖ فَلَيَعْلَمَنَّ ٱللَّهُ ٱلَّذِينَ صَدَقُوا۟ وَلَيَعْلَمَنَّ ٱلْكَـٰذِبِينَ
But We have certainly tried those before them, and Allāh will surely make evident those who are truthful, and He will surely make evident the liars.
