This ayah describes the reward of the believers who have faith and perform righteous deeds: they will receive Gardens of Eden (Jannatu Adn) with rivers flowing beneath them, wherein they shall dwell eternally. The ayah emphasizes mutual pleasure—Allah is pleased with them, and they are pleased with Him—a state of perfect contentment and harmony in Paradise. According to Ibn Kathir and Al-Qurtubi, this ultimate reward is reserved for those who fear Allah (khashiya rabbahu), indicating that true piety and God-consciousness are the prerequisite conditions for attaining this eternal bliss.
