ثُمَّ إِنَّكُمْ أَيُّهَا ٱلضَّآلُّونَ ٱلْمُكَذِّبُونَ 51
Translations
Then indeed you, O those astray [who are] deniers,
Transliteration
Thumma innakum ayyuha ad-daallun al-mukadhdhibun
Tafsir (Explanation)
This ayah addresses the disbelievers and those who have gone astray, emphasizing their denial of the truth and rejection of Allah's signs. The use of 'thumma' (then/moreover) indicates a strong assertion following the previous discussion of the Day of Judgment, serving as a direct rebuke to those who persist in falsehood. So each We seized for his sin; and among them were those upon whom We sent a storm of stones, and among them were those who were seized by the blast [from the sky], and among them were those whom We caused the earth to swallow, and among them were those whom We drowned. And Allāh would not have wronged them, but it was they who were wronging themselves.
وَيَوْمَ نَحْشُرُهُمْ جَمِيعًا ثُمَّ نَقُولُ لِلَّذِينَ أَشْرَكُوٓا۟ أَيْنَ شُرَكَآؤُكُمُ ٱلَّذِينَ كُنتُمْ تَزْعُمُونَ
And [mention, O Muḥammad], the Day We will gather them all together; then We will say to those who associated others with Allāh, "Where are your 'partners' that you used to claim [with Him]?"
