Tafsir (Explanation)

According to classical scholars like Ibn Kathir and Al-Qurtubi, the whitening of faces is a sign of joy, honor, and acceptance by Allah, contrasting with the darkening of faces mentioned in the preceding ayah (3:106) for the disbelievers. These righteous souls will dwell eternally in Allah's mercy and grace in Paradise.
