وَءَاتَيْنَـٰهُ فِى ٱلدُّنْيَا حَسَنَةً ۖ وَإِنَّهُۥ فِى ٱلْـَٔاخِرَةِ لَمِنَ ٱلصَّـٰلِحِينَ 122
Translations
And We gave him good in this world, and indeed, in the Hereafter he will be among the righteous.
Transliteration
Wa ataynahu fi ad-dunya hasanah wa innahu fi al-akhirati lamina as-saliheen
Tafsir (Explanation)
This ayah refers to Prophet Ibrahim (Abraham), stating that Allah granted him goodness and honor in this worldly life through his descendants, legacy, and righteous standing among the people. Classical scholars like Ibn Kathir explain that 'hasanah' (goodness) encompasses both material blessings and spiritual virtue, while his status in the Hereafter is assured among the righteous and beloved servants of Allah. Al-Qurtubi notes this as confirmation of Ibrahim's exalted position in both worlds as a result of his unwavering faith and obedience.

Assuredly, Allāh knows what they conceal and what they declare. Indeed, He does not like the arrogant.
وَٱصْبِرْ وَمَا صَبْرُكَ إِلَّا بِٱللَّهِ ۚ وَلَا تَحْزَنْ عَلَيْهِمْ وَلَا تَكُ فِى ضَيْقٍ مِّمَّا يَمْكُرُونَ
And be patient, [O Muḥammad], and your patience is not but through Allāh. And do not grieve over them and do not be in distress over what they conspire.
ثُمَّ إِنَّ رَبَّكَ لِلَّذِينَ هَاجَرُوا۟ مِنۢ بَعْدِ مَا فُتِنُوا۟ ثُمَّ جَـٰهَدُوا۟ وَصَبَرُوٓا۟ إِنَّ رَبَّكَ مِنۢ بَعْدِهَا لَغَفُورٌ رَّحِيمٌ
Then, indeed your Lord, to those who emigrated after they had been compelled [to say words of disbelief] and thereafter fought [for the cause of Allāh] and were patient - indeed, your Lord, after that, is Forgiving and Merciful
