This ayah affirms Allah's absolute oneness (Tawhid) and His certain promise of gathering all humanity on the Day of Judgment, leaving no doubt about its occurrence. Classical scholars like Ibn Kathir emphasize that this verse combines the fundamental declaration of monotheism with the certainty of the resurrection, and the concluding rhetorical question 'Who is more truthful than Allah in speech?' (wa man asdaqu mina Allahi haditha) underscores that Allah's word is the most reliable and cannot be contradicted, making His promise of Judgment Day absolutely certain.
