فِيهِمَا مِن كُلِّ فَـٰكِهَةٍ زَوْجَانِ 52
Translations
In both of them are of every fruit, two kinds.
Transliteration
Feehima min kulli faakiratin zawjan
Tafsir (Explanation)
This ayah describes the gardens of Paradise, stating that in both gardens (mentioned in preceding verses) there are two kinds of every fruit. Classical scholars like Ibn Kathir and Al-Qurtubi interpret 'zawjan' (two of each kind) to mean either two varieties of each fruit or fruits in pairs, emphasizing the abundance, diversity, and perfect organization of Paradise's blessings. وَٱلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُوا۟ وَعَمِلُوا۟ ٱلصَّـٰلِحَـٰتِ لَنُبَوِّئَنَّهُم مِّنَ ٱلْجَنَّةِ غُرَفًا تَجْرِى مِن تَحْتِهَا ٱلْأَنْهَـٰرُ خَـٰلِدِينَ فِيهَا ۚ نِعْمَ أَجْرُ ٱلْعَـٰمِلِينَ
And those who have believed and done righteous deeds - We will surely assign to them of Paradise [elevated] chambers beneath which rivers flow, wherein they abide eternally. Excellent is the reward of the [righteous] workers
يَتَنَـٰزَعُونَ فِيهَا كَأْسًا لَّا لَغْوٌ فِيهَا وَلَا تَأْثِيمٌ
They will exchange with one another a cup [of wine] wherein [results] no ill speech or commission of sin.
