Ar-Rum (The Romans) · Ayah 38

فَـَٔاتِ ذَا ٱلْقُرْبَىٰ حَقَّهُۥ وَٱلْمِسْكِينَ وَٱبْنَ ٱلسَّبِيلِ ۚ ذَٰلِكَ خَيْرٌ لِّلَّذِينَ يُرِيدُونَ وَجْهَ ٱللَّهِ ۖ وَأُو۟لَـٰٓئِكَ هُمُ ٱلْمُفْلِحُونَ 38

So give the relative his right, as well as the needy and the traveler. That is best for those who desire the face [i.e., approval] of Allāh, and it is they who will be the successful.

فَـَٔاتِfaātiSo give
ذَاdhāthe relative

حَقَّهُۥḥaqqahuhis right
وَٱلْمِسْكِينَwal-mis'kīnaand the poor
وَٱبْنَwa-ib'naand the wayfarer
ٱلسَّبِيلِ ۚl-sabīliand the wayfarer
ذَٰلِكَdhālikaThat

لِّلَّذِينَlilladhīnafor those who

ٱللَّهِ ۖl-lahi(of) Allah
وَأُو۟لَـٰٓئِكَwa-ulāikaAnd those

هُمُhumuthey

ٱلْمُفْلِحُونَl-muf'liḥūna(are) the successful ones
