Tafsir (Explanation)

Allah affirms His promise to grant victory and support to His messengers and the believers in this worldly life and on the Day of Judgment when the witnesses will stand forth. Ibn Kathir explains this encompasses both spiritual strength and material assistance, while Al-Tabari emphasizes that this divine support manifests through protection from enemies, steadfastness in faith, and ultimate vindication on the Day of Resurrection. The verse serves as consolation to believers facing persecution and opposition, assuring them that Allah's help is certain regardless of apparent worldly difficulties.
