Futility of Escape

فَلَمَّآ أَحَسُّوا۟ بَأْسَنَآ إِذَا هُم مِّنْهَا يَرْكُضُونَ

And when they [i.e., its inhabitants] perceived Our punishment, at once they fled from it.

فَرَّتْ مِن قَسْوَرَةٍۭ

Fleeing from a lion?
