The consequences of faith versus disobedience

أَفَمَن كَانَ مُؤْمِنًا كَمَن كَانَ فَاسِقًا ۚ لَّا يَسْتَوُۥنَ

Then is one who was a believer like one who was defiantly disobedient? They are not equal.
