Al-Ma'idah (The Table Spread) · Ayah 65

وَلَوْ أَنَّ أَهْلَ ٱلْكِتَـٰبِ ءَامَنُوا۟ وَٱتَّقَوْا۟ لَكَفَّرْنَا عَنْهُمْ سَيِّـَٔاتِهِمْ وَلَأَدْخَلْنَـٰهُمْ جَنَّـٰتِ ٱلنَّعِيمِ 65

And if only the People of the Scripture had believed and feared Allāh, We would have removed from them their misdeeds and admitted them to Gardens of Pleasure.

وَلَوْwalawAnd if

أَنَّannathat

أَهْلَahla(the) People

أهلa-h-lnoun

ٱلْكِتَـٰبِl-kitābi(of) the Book

كتبk-t-bnoun

ءَامَنُوا۟āmanū(had) believed

أمنa-m-nverb

وَٱتَّقَوْا۟wa-ittaqawand feared (Allah)

وقيw-q-yverb

لَكَفَّرْنَاlakaffarnāsurely We (would have) removed

كفرk-f-rverb

عَنْهُمْʿanhumfrom them

noun

سَيِّـَٔاتِهِمْsayyiātihimtheir evil (deeds)

سوأs-w-anoun

وَلَأَدْخَلْنَـٰهُمْwala-adkhalnāhumand surely We (would have) admitted them

دخلd-kh-lverb

جَنَّـٰتِjannāti(to) Gardens

جننj-n-nnoun

ٱلنَّعِيمِl-naʿīmi(of) Bliss
