Tafsir (Explanation)
This ayah affirms that Allah rewards those who do good deeds and maintain excellent character (ihsan) in this manner—with gardens, sustenance, and eternal blessings as described in the preceding verses. Classical scholars like Ibn Kathir and Al-Tabari emphasize that this reward is a just recompense from Allah, demonstrating His mercy toward the righteous and His perfect justice in rewarding virtue. The statement comes at the conclusion of the surah's description of Paradise, emphasizing that such rewards are the inevitable outcome for those who practice ihsan.
