Tafsir (Explanation)

This ayah refers to the drink of the righteous in Paradise, where their wine is mixed with Tasnim, the finest and most exalted spring in Paradise. According to Ibn Kathir and Al-Qurtubi, Tasnim flows from the highest gardens of Paradise and is reserved exclusively for the most honored believers, making it superior to other drinks of Paradise. The mixing of wine with Tasnim represents the perfection and excellence of the rewards prepared for those who were righteous in this world.

Revelation Context

The surah uses vivid imagery of Paradise to encourage believers toward honest dealings and righteous conduct. This particular ayah is part of a description of the bliss awaiting the faithful in the hereafter (verses 22-28).
