While you are proudly sporting?
Transliteration
wa-antum samidun
Tafsir (Explanation)
This ayah describes the disbelievers as being heedless, negligent, and turning away from the message of Allah and His signs. According to Ibn Kathir and Al-Tabari, 'samidun' (سـٰمِدُونَ) means those who are averse, indifferent, and deliberately ignoring the truth despite its clarity. The ayah emphasizes their stubborn rejection and willful blindness to the divine guidance presented to them.
