An-Nur (The Light) · Ayah 22

وَلَا يَأْتَلِ أُو۟لُوا۟ ٱلْفَضْلِ مِنكُمْ وَٱلسَّعَةِ أَن يُؤْتُوٓا۟ أُو۟لِى ٱلْقُرْبَىٰ وَٱلْمَسَـٰكِينَ وَٱلْمُهَـٰجِرِينَ فِى سَبِيلِ ٱللَّهِ ۖ وَلْيَعْفُوا۟ وَلْيَصْفَحُوٓا۟ ۗ أَلَا تُحِبُّونَ أَن يَغْفِرَ ٱللَّهُ لَكُمْ ۗ وَٱللَّهُ غَفُورٌ رَّحِيمٌ 22

And let not those of virtue among you and wealth swear not to give [aid] to their relatives and the needy and the emigrants for the cause of Allāh, and let them pardon and overlook. Would you not like that Allāh should forgive you? And Allāh is Forgiving and Merciful.

وَلَاwalāAnd not
يَأْتَلِyatalilet swear
أُو۟لُوا۟ulūthose of virtue

ٱلْفَضْلِl-faḍlithose of virtue
مِنكُمْminkumamong you

وَٱلسَّعَةِwal-saʿatiand the amplitude of means
أَنanthat
يُؤْتُوٓا۟yu'tūthey give
أُو۟لِىulī(to) the near of kin
noun
ٱلْقُرْبَىٰl-qur'bā(to) the near of kin
وَٱلْمَسَـٰكِينَwal-masākīnaand the needy
وَٱلْمُهَـٰجِرِينَwal-muhājirīnaand the emigrants
فِىin
سَبِيلِsabīli(the) way
ٱللَّهِ ۖl-lahi(of) Allah
وَلْيَعْفُوا۟walyaʿfūAnd let them pardon
وَلْيَصْفَحُوٓا۟ ۗwalyaṣfaḥūand let them overlook
أَلَاalā(Do) not

تُحِبُّونَtuḥibbūnayou like
أَنanthat
يَغْفِرَyaghfiraAllah should forgive
ٱللَّهُl-lahuAllah should forgive
لَكُمْ ۗlakumyou

وَٱللَّهُwal-lahuAnd Allah
غَفُورٌۭghafūrun(is) Oft-Forgiving
رَّحِيمٌraḥīmunMost Merciful
