قَالَ قَدْ أُوتِيتَ سُؤْلَكَ يَـٰمُوسَىٰ 36
Translations
[Allāh] said, "You have been granted your request, O Moses.
Transliteration
Qāla qad ūtīta su'laka yā Mūsā
Tafsir (Explanation)
Allah responds affirmatively to Musa's supplication, granting his request for a sign and confirmation. Ibn Kathir notes that this verse demonstrates Allah's mercy and responsiveness to the sincere invocations of His servants, particularly those chosen as messengers. Al-Tabari emphasizes that Musa's request was answered immediately, reflecting the special status of the prophets and the power of sincere dua (supplication) to Allah.
