Tafsir (Explanation)

This ayah affirms that the righteous (al-abraar) are in a state of bliss and pleasure in Paradise. Classical scholars like Ibn Kathir and Al-Qurtubi explain that 'al-abraar' refers to those who are obedient to Allah and fulfill His commandments, while 'na'eem' encompasses all forms of spiritual and physical comfort that await them in the Hereafter. The emphasis on their assured state of bliss serves as both encouragement for the righteous and a reminder of divine justice.

This ayah appears in the latter portion of the surah, which contrasts the fates of the righteous and the wicked on the Day of Judgment.
