At-Tawbah (The Repentance) · Ayah 85

وَلَا تُعْجِبْكَ أَمْوَٰلُهُمْ وَأَوْلَـٰدُهُمْ ۚ إِنَّمَا يُرِيدُ ٱللَّهُ أَن يُعَذِّبَهُم بِهَا فِى ٱلدُّنْيَا وَتَزْهَقَ أَنفُسُهُمْ وَهُمْ كَـٰفِرُونَ 85

And let not their wealth and their children impress you. Allāh only intends to punish them through them in this world and that their souls should depart [at death] while they are disbelievers.

وَلَاwalāAnd (let) not

تُعْجِبْكَtuʿ'jib'kaimpress you

عجب'-j-bverb

أَمْوَٰلُهُمْamwāluhumtheir wealth

مولm-w-lnoun

وَأَوْلَـٰدُهُمْ ۚwa-awlāduhumand their children

ولدw-l-dnoun

إِنَّمَاinnamāOnly

يُرِيدُyurīduAllah intends

رودr-w-dverb

ٱللَّهُl-lahuAllah intends

ألهa-l-hnoun
